Does professional photography help sell homes? Yes. Yes it does.
All price points of homes should be professionally photographed. One of my top performing agents has me photograph even the sub 100k listings. And then other agents ask him how he closes so many sales? And he tells them, "Irving sells my homes with his pictures". And those same agents continue to shoot homes with their phone. It's mind boggling.

Bacon’s Castle was originally home to a prosperous planter, Arthur Allen, and his family. Following Allen’s death, the house was inherited by his son, Major Arthur Allen II. A loyalist supporter of the colonial government and member of the House of Burgesses, Major Allen was driven from his house in 1676 by followers of the patriot rebel Nathaniel Bacon, whose uprising later came to be known as Bacon’s Rebellion. The episode later gave Bacon’s Castle its name though the house remained in the Allen family until 1844. Source

83% of home buyers say photos are "very useful". What they are really saying is; clear, sharp, square (no leaning walls) photos that GIVE INFORMATION are very useful. And those yellow/orange interior photos? Or, those over processed HDR smoke damaged gritty photos are exactly what's wrong with my industry.
